They might have expected a sweet female voice.  In dismay, the men showered abuses over phone. The man at the other end warned them that they were talking to the DGP of Kerala and disconnected the call. The men were not ready to stop at that. They rang up again, this time with the choicest of abuses.

The trio got the shock of their lives when police knocked at their door in a few minutes and picked them up.

At the police station, they came to know that the person whom they called was none other than the State Police Chief  Loknath Behera. The DGP had transferred the number to the Cyber Cell that promptly traced the callers from Malappattam in Kannur.

A lot of pleading and tears followed. Finally, the men were let off after a few hours as the DGP did not file a complaint.
