The 71-year-old surgeon was upset over how the minister allegedly treated him over a dirty patient bed. The minister was reportedly heard "speaking rudely" with the Vice Chancellor. The medical fraternity has thrown its weight behind Dr Raj Bahadur and condemned the incident. 

The Delhi police have arrested Ankit Sirsa, the killer of Sidhu Moose Wala. The Punjabi singer was shot dead on May 29 in Mansa district of Punjab.

Civil Aviation Ministry has permitted Sikh passengers to travel with Kirpan on Indian domestic aircraft.

Interestingly the claim comes at a time when there is mounting opposition pressure on Prime Minister Imran Khan to resign from his post. Meanwhile, neither the Indian defence ministry nor the external affairs ministry have responded to Pakistan's claim. 

BJP leader Manjinder Singh Sirsa in a series of tweets revealed how Congress jumped into the fray and used the opportunity to promote its anti-India, anti-BJP agenda.

The committee is anticipated to decide who to endorse in the Punjab elections within the next day or two. The political wing had requested that Gurmeet take some time to discuss this. Dera's leader is also on his way to Sirsa.

The BJP leader JP Nadda welcomed Manjinder Sirsa's induction and hoped that his experience would benefit the organisation.

The notices were sent on January 15 asking them to appear at the NIA’s Delhi headquarters from January 18-21.
