The Travancore Devaswom Board (TDB) on October 20 issued a circular banning RSS activities on the temple premises that come under the board. In response to the move, Devaswom Minister K Radhakrishnan justified the circular today.

The Commissioner of the Travancore Devaswom Board claims that the RSS and other extreme groups are violating the High Court's order by encroaching on the temple land. The official also found that there are weapon training sessions going on inside the temple's grounds

The Travancore Devaswom Board (TDB) has directed all temples under its control not to allow mass drills and other activities organized by Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) on the temple premises.
 

The Kerala government has turned over the Sabarimala virtual queue, which was created by the police for online pilgrimage registrations by devotees, to the Travancore Devaswom Board (TDB). The TDB has implemented a specific system for virtual queues and will increase its IT department.
