Netflix Beef facing boycott; actor David Choe's old comments on sexually assaulting resurface online RBA

People are calling for a boycott of Netflix's Beef after earlier statements by star David Choe about his 'rapey' behaviour came online. Choe, who portrays Isaac in the programme, made the remarks on his podcast DVDASA in 2014.

Comments made by David Choe on sexually abusing a masseuse
During a podcast episode, David Choe recounted receiving a massage from a lady named Rose and claiming to have sexually assaulted her. According to Just Jared, the 46-year-old actor took the masseuse's hand and placed it on his private region. He stated that she didn't appear to enjoy it, but she went along with it nevertheless.

When David wasn't happy with what she was doing, he told her to spit on him. She, on the other hand, did not do it. He then requested that she kiss his member, but she declined. He added, "I take the back of her head and I push it down on my dick, and she doesn't do it, and then I go, 'Open your mouth, open your mouth,' and she does it," he said. "And then I start face-f**king her." Choe's co-host Asa Akira replied, "You raped."

David Choe claimed he is 'not a rapist'
David, according to Buzzfeed, clarified that he is not a rapist. "I just want to be clear that I acknowledge that that is rapey behaviour." However, I am not a rapist. With the rape... I mean, I'd be in a lot of trouble right now if she placed her hand on my dick and said, 'F**king stop, I'm going to call security.' That would have made for a very different tale. But the adrenaline of perhaps going to jail fueled the erection quest."
