Bengali actress Madhumita Sarcar hospitalised; undergoes surgery to remove appendix
The 'Chini 2' actress was hospitalised at a city hospital where she underwent surgery and is on her way to recovery. The actress will be discharged from the hospital soon.
Bengali actress Madhumita Sarcar was hospitalised, and her appendix was removed during recent surgery (Appendicectomy). The actress was experiencing intense abdominal pain before launching her brand-new online series, 'Jaatiswar', this month. While filming her upcoming movie 'Chini 2', she became severely ill and sought immediate medical assistance. The doctor encouraged her to get an appendicectomy right away. As per the recommendation, the actress was checked into a private hospital in Kolkata, where the procedure was performed.
Madhumita is making progress towards recovery. The actress, who has been in several successful daily soaps, sent a photo from the hospital to social media to reassure her followers that she is also progressing. She will shortly be released from the hospital. Her doctors have urged her to relax even after being released and to pick up shooting again after full recovery.
