Uttar Pradesh's Bareilly that witnessed a rape case few days ago is in the news once again for mob justice as a youth was tied to tree and beaten for hours together until he died. All this, because he was accused of stealing an iron rod.  

The Central Crime Branch that arrested and remanded actress Ragini Dwivedi from Yelahanka and Viren Khanna from Delhi, have named them in an FIR. Along with them, several others were included, and the probe is on. Dwivedi and Khanna are second and third accused as per the FIR  

A man in Gomtipur Police Station limits is accused of pouring boiling water on his wife. He suspected her of having an affair as she was always busy on the phone.  

Gender discrimination and killing of the girl child still exists despite government intervention and many campaigns. In the latest of these cases, a man from Chirang poisoned the child and then buried her. After a complaint, police tracked down the body. However, the accused is on the run.

After binge drinking till late night, a father and his friend barged into the minor daughter's room and molested her. Following a complaint from the girl's mother, the accused have been arrested.  

In a case of superstitious beliefs leading to killings, a man beheaded his wife and then buried her head and body inside a puja room. The man who believed in occult practices was arrested and taken into custody for further investigation.  

Uttar Pradesh's image of “crime destination” has suffered yet another blow after a 3-year-old girl was found raped and murdered. The incident was reported at Lakhimpur Kheri on Thursday and the accused has been arrested following an encounter.  

In a spine-chilling case, a 15-year-old was allegedly gang-raped and beaten with iron rods. One of the accused also recorded the act when two others allegedly assaulted her and threatened her against telling anyone of the incident.  

A 21-year-old from Mumbai became the victim of a trap after replying to a WhatsApp message. The lady first befriended the victim, proposed marriage and on a video call, asked him to show his physical and sexual fitness. One this was done he was blackmailed with his nude video

Few days after incidents of tonsuring and parading couples in UP and North East were reported, a married woman and her nephew were disrobed before hundreds of people and forced to bathe as an act of purification for their “illicit relationship”. They were also ordered to pay a penalty.
