Uttar Pradesh: Minor girl beaten with rods for resisting gang rape; act recorded on camera
In a spine-chilling case, a 15-year-old was allegedly gang-raped and beaten with iron rods. One of the accused also recorded the act when two others allegedly assaulted her and threatened her against telling anyone of the incident.
FollowA minor girl aged 15 was allegedly raped by three men who beat the victim with iron rods during their second attempt when the girl resisted.
One of the accused also allegedly recorded the act carried out by his associates.
The incident was reported from Bareilly District on Wednesday and the accused are identified as Mohit (25), Sumit (27) and Ankit (24).

The girl was let off after the incident and on her return, she narrated her ordeal to her family, following which two accused were arrested. One person is still at large.
The arrested are Mohit and Sumit and police have launched a search for Ankit. A case of rape, attempt to murder for hitting with iron rods and other relevant sections the IPC along with the POCSO Act has been registered against the three accused.
