SS Rajamouli's Baahubali 2 rights sold to Netflix for 25.5 crore

If you haven't watched Baahubali 2 or want to watch it again, then Netflix is where you will find it. In the bid to strengthen its presence in the Indian market, Netflix has acquired the rights to stream S.S. Rajamouli’s Baahubali: The Beginning and Baahubali 2: The Conclusion.
Netflix bought the rights at whopping $4 million that translates to Rs 25.5 crore, reports LiveMint. Baahubali will now be available in 192 countries.
As aforesaid, it is Netflix's efforts at wooing the Indian audiences with relevant content. Earlier, we've seen it buy streaming rights for popular Indian movies like Dangal. This report claims that Baahubali is available on Netflix in Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam and with English subtitles.Â

So, users can easily watch the movie online in these languages on Netflix. Netflix is available as a web services and also on Android and iOS. Netflix offers first month as a free trial, and then you will have to subscribe to it.Â
The streaming space is getting crowded by the day, and we recently saw Amazon's Prime Video enter the Indian market. The growing stand-up comedy space is also something that Netflix and its arch rival Amazon Prime Video are battling for. Moreover, Netflix is also said to open its first office in India later this year in Mumbai.
There are several other options such as HotStar, Spuul and others. The 4G push by Jio and its after-effects have further opened up the market. Jio also has its own streaming service dubbed JioCinema.
