Gorkha Janmukti Morcha’s (GJM) founder-president Bimal Gurung has returned to the hills after a long time. He held his first public meeting in Darjeeling on Sunday (December 20) afternoon. A joint team of Darjeeling police and excise department arrested three persons with 130 gold biscuits worth Rs 12 crore. According to information received from police sources, each gold biscuit weighs 166 grams. A total of 130 pieces of gold biscuits recovered on this basis weighs 21 kg 580 grams.
