Many universities including Bangalore University, Bengaluru Central University have postponed the examinations that were scheduled to be held on April 7 in the wake of the strike.

 Further, wishing students ahead of their examinations, PM Modi said, 'Be a warrior, not a worrier.' He also invited parents, teachers for their suggestion for "Pariksha pe Charcha."

The Central Board for Secondary Education has announced the dates of the Board examinations 2021 for Class 10 and 12.

West Bengal Education Minister Partha Chatterjee said on Wednesday (December 23) that the secondary and higher secondary examinations will be held in June 2021.

School Education Minister Inder Singh Parmar said that the decision to reopen schools for Class 10 and 12 students has been taken keeping in view the upcoming board examinations.

 Amid the coronavirus pandemic in the country, West Bengal's state education department decided that students currently studying in classes 10th and 12th will not have their selection tests before board examinations in 2021. 
 

The study said that family disputes, troubled love affairs, failure in examinations, issues over mobile phones, two-wheelers were among the major reasons for the suicides.
