Union Minister and Asansol MP Babul Supriyo mocks chief minister Mamata Banerjee in his tweet. Recently, the chief minister held a meeting in Jhargram where she told that COVID infection can spread from the wheels of the lorry. Babul Supriyo mocked this statement and tweeted, “When the Honourable Chief Minister said this statement, it must have a scientific basis. Any doctor can shed some light on this matter?”
“We have got a lot of new information about COVID in the last eight months. But I have never heard of this car tire concept'. Can the doctors explain to me about this concept?”
Union Minister Babul Supriyo sneered at Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee in his tweet.
Doctors and health experts are apprehensive about a surge in Covid-19 cases after Durga puja. The number of COVID cases is increasing every day in the state of West Bengal. A few days ago, Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee expressed her concern regarding this issue at an administrative meeting in Jhargram.
Giving a message to everyone to wear masks, the chief minister said, 'In Jhargram, lorries come from Chennai, Mumbai. So Jhargram has to be careful in the month of October. The COVID infection can come from the wheels of the lorry. We must be to be careful.”
Mamata Banerjee directed the police to make the general public aware of the use of masks and sanitizers. The chief minister even directed the administration to distribute masks to those who could not afford to buy it. She clearly mentioned in the meeting that everyone has to wear masks until the COVID vaccine arrives in the country.
Mocking about the statement told by chief minister Mamata Banerjee, Union Minister and Asansol MP Babul Supriyo sarcastically tweeted, “There is no disagreement that you have to wear a mask to survive from COVID. But can the infection be spread from the lorry wheel? When the Honourable Chief Minister said this statement, it must have a scientific basis. Any doctor can shed some light on this matter?”
