Laxman Seth has been behind the Nandigram incident. On this day, questions have started to arise in various quarters about Laxman Seth sharing the stage with the Trinamool leader. Although Laxman Seth said that he would talk about this matter in detail at some other time.

When speculation about Nandigram land movement leader Shuvendu Adhikari culminates, many consider Laxman Seth sitting next to the Trinamool leader as an unprecedented event.

In an interview with the media at the event, Kunal Ghosh said that he did not know anything about Laxman Seth joining the Trinamool. He has joined the apolitical program. However, Kunal Ghosh further said that Laxman Seth had claimed that he had no hand in the Nandigram case.

Laxman Seth has claimed that the incident took place as a result of desperate efforts to show industrialization. The former Tamluk MP further claimed that under the direction of the party, everything was done with a gun on his shoulder.

In 2014, the CPM expelled Laxman Seth for alleged anti-party activities. As he praised Mamata Banerjee at that time, he also criticized Biman Basu and Buddhadeb Bhattacharya. He later built the Bharat Nirman Mancha. Unable to take advantage, he joined the BJP in 2016. And before the last Lok Sabha elections, he joined the Congress and contested from Tamluk. However, it was learned that Abdul Mannan was against Laxman Seth joining the Congress at that time.
