Actor Yash Dasgupta meets Amit Shah after joining BJP

On Friday (February 19) morning, Union home minister Amit Shah met actor Tollywood Yash Dasgupta. Two days after joining the BJP, Yash paid a courtesy visit to Amit Shah.

Union home minister Amit Shah arrived in West Bengal on Thursday (February 18) with a bunch of programs. On Friday (February 19) morning, the Home Minister met actor Tollywood Yash Dasgupta. 

Two days after joining the BJP, Yash paid a courtesy visit to Amit Shah. The Union home minister is staying at a five-star hotel in Newtown, where he met Yash. BJP Rajya Sabha MP Swapan Dasgupta was present during the meeting.

On this day, Yash was seen in blue denim and yellow T-shirt. The actor posed for a photo with a smile. Yash is going to be one of the trump cards of BJP in the next assembly elections.

Actor Yash Dasgupta, who was once close to the ruling party, raised the BJP flag on Wednesday (February 17). Yash is a close friend of TMC MP Nusrat Jahan. There are rumours that their friendship might get weaken after Yash joined BJP.

Yash Dasgupta said, “I still have respect for Didi. I love that woman so much. I still consider myself her brother. I will not make any wrong comments against her. This morning I sent an SMS to her asking for blessings for success in political life.”

But will Yash be the BJP's candidate in the assembly elections? However, the actor did not open his mouth about that. He said the decision of the party was the last word. But I want to work for the people, said Yash Dasgupta.
