The number of COVID-19 cases is increasing in the state. According to the state health bulletin, 541 cases have been reported in Kolkata in the last 24 hours.  The total number of deaths in the city stood at 1,203. Presently, the recovery rate is 79.10%.

However, the chief minister said that the number of patients in West Bengal cannot be controlled. The administration is trying hard to stop the spread of COVID-19. Every effort is being made to deal with the COVID-19 situation.<br />
