CBSE class 10 result 2021 announced; direct link now available

The CBSE class 10 result has been released today at 12 noon. Students can check the CBSE 10th result at cbseresults.nic.in using their roll number.

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) announced the Class 10 results today, August 3. The results are available on the official website of CBSE – cbse.gov.in or cbseresults.nic.in.

Students can also check their results at digilocker.gov.in. Results will also be available at Umang App. CBSE Result for class 10 is now available on Digilocker. Students must note that they would still need their Roll Number to access the marksheets. They can go to digilocker.gov.in or download the app to access their marksheets.

CBSE 10th Result 2021: How to check

· Go to the official website cbseresults.nic.in

· On the home page, click on the link for Secondary Class X Results 2021 - Direct link to check result

· A new window would open – enter the details asked and the captcha image

· Press Submit to view your result online

Over 57,000 students scored above 95%, while over 2 lakh students scored between 90 and 95%. The pass percentage has been recorded at 99.04% and girls have outshined boys by 0.35%. 

However, result are still under process for over 16,000 students. 

CBSE Class 10 Board Exams 2021 were cancelled in view of the pandemic. The board has instead decided to award the marks to students on the basis of internal assessment.

Students would be awarded marks in 10:30:40 ratio where 10 marks are for periodics, 30 for midterms and 40 for the pre-board examinations. The schools were asked to prepare and submit the marks based on the criteria described thereof.

Over 20 lakh students will be checking their results today. Since exams were cancelled students are being assessed based on their year-long performance including practicals, unit tests, pre-boards, mid-terms. This is the first time that the board has announced results for class 10 without an exam, however, the pass percentage is expected to go up.
