"Indian Railways transport subsidies! Through the questionnaire, you will have a chance to get Rs 6,000," reads the message going viral on social media platforms. PIB fact checking division has revealed that it is not true and urged citizens to be aware of the scam.

During the announcement, Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal said that Delhi currently has 58 lakh consumers, with 47 lakh receiving subsidies. However, only those who register for the subsidy can use it under the new policy.

According to sources, Bommai also emphasised that state transportation undertakings should not rely on government subsidies and rather try to increase income.
