Parts of Bengaluru will face power cuts between 9 am to 5 pm on August 6, 7 and 8 due to maintenance work.

 Areas including HSR Layout, Wilson Garden etc will be facing power cuts between 10 am to 5.30 pm due to infrastructural works undertaken by the BESCOM.
 

According to Bangalore Electricity Supply Company Limited (BESCOM), the power cuts will be caused due to cable work and other infrastructural works between 10 am to 5.30 pm, through the week.
 

BESCOM officials have cited work at RBI, Khodays, and St John's substations as the reason behind power cuts expected to take place in the following days (times).

 The power cut is between 10 am to 4 pm today due to the quarterly maintenance at the ‘66/11KV Pottery Road Station’ by Karnataka Power Transmission Corporation Limited (KPTCL).

The BWSSB has proposed to increase water tariff by 12% after the Karnataka government announced a hike in power tariff by 40 paise per unit with an average increase of 5.4 percent.

Karnataka Electricity Regulatory Commission (KERC) has approved a hike of 40 paise per unit for all electricity supply companies in the state like BESCOM (Bangalore Electricity Supply Company).
