The Xiaomi 12S series is believed to be one of the first smartphone families to feature Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC, which was announced last month. Companies like as Asus, Realme, and iQoo are also set to unveil new versions equipped with the newest Snapdragon CPU.

The Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1-powered Xiaomi 12S Pro is said to enable 120W fast charging. However, listings on the Compulsory Certification of China (3C or CCC) website indicated that both the standard Xiaomi 12S and the Xiaomi 12S Pro will support 67W charging.
We can also fairly anticipate that the whole Xiaomi 12S series will have AMOLED panels with fast refresh rates as well as a metal body to provide consumers with a premium appearance and feel.
