Sakshi says it is for her self-protection as she will be alone in the house most of the time and also needs to protect herself while going for her job. She has faced life threats during these times and it is the reason why she has applied for a gun license.
MS Dhoni got his gun license in 2010. He applied for a gun license in 2008, but the Union Ministry rejected his request. Later on, Dhoni applied in 2010 and got his license.
The Jharkhand government has issued a Y range security to Dhoni's house in Ranchi. They provided high security for Dhoni's house after India lost the ICC match in 2017 with Pakistan.
