A massive fire has been reported at a 24-storey West London apartment tower. There are reports of multiple injuries.

There is still no information on the extent of injuries at Grenfell Tower. The London Fire officials continue to evacuate residents more than four hours after the fire first broke out. The inferno tore through a West London apartment tower.

The first report on the fire incident was filed at 1 am. The cause of the fire yet to be ascertained. "Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus are working extremely hard in very difficult conditions to tackle this fire," London Fire Brigade assistant commissioner Dan Daly said in a public statement.

"This is a large and very serious incident, and we have deployed numerous resources and specialist appliances."

The rescue efforts are still on, even as fire officials were trying to reach trapped residents. According to The Guardian, the apartment has 24-storeys and 120 apartments.
