A video of an elephant being rescued from a mud puddle by officials in Moleyur range of the Bandipur Tiger Reserve in Karnataka is making rounds on social media for all the right reasons.

A video of an elephant being rescued from a mud puddle by officials in Bandipur Tiger Reserve is going viral.

An elephant can be seen struggling to come out of a mud puddle in the video.

The elephant can be seen moving its legs but fails to get up from the mud puddle.

Officials in Moleyur range of the Bandipur Tiger Reserve uses a JCB loader and pushes the elephant slowly to move out of the puddle.

With a little help from the officials, the elephant managed to get out of the puddle and walk steadily.

Bandipur Tiger Reserve shared the video with a caption, “One female elephant, stuck in the fresh mud puddle in Moleyur range of Bandipur Tiger Reserve, rescued successfully.”

The video went viral and has garnered more than 25k views, and netizens applauded the officials for their kind gesture.
