Viral video: Man attacks Puerto Rico airport soldier after being told to wear mask

A man who arrived in Puerto Rico airport attacked a National Guard soldier who asked the passenger twice to put on a mask at the baggage claim.

There are a lot of videos on social media where people can be seen stubbornly refusing to wear face mask amidst the Covid-19 pandemic. One such incident occured in the Puerto Rico airport.

 

A man who arrived in Puerto Rico on a flight from the U.S attacked a National Guard soldier who twice told him to put on a mask.

 

In the video, the passenger Adrien William can be seen attacking the official.

 

Once the officials take control over him, he can be heard yelling "It’s gonna be all on social media".

 

Adrien William and Ashely Nicole William, his female co-passenger who was also allegedly involved in the confrontation, was taken into custody by police in Puerto Rico.

 

Soldiers who approached Adrien William said that he had a stench of alcohol.

 

The man also refused to fill out mandatory travel declaration forms.

 

The video shared by journalist David Begnaud has gone viral with netizens criticising the passenger for his actions.
