Murder accused celebrates birthday in jail, video goes viral

A video of a murder accused housed in Bengaluru's Parappana Agrahara is going viral after he celebrated his birthday.

 

As accused Rizwan alias Kulla walks inside the barrack to cut the cake,  a Kannada song is being played and video is being shared on multiple platforms.

Kulla Rizwan is a rowdy sheeter wanted in two murder cases and was sent to jail in 2019 after Bengaluru South Division police arrested him.

 

There is no restriction on festivals and birthday occasions at jail but the use of phones are banned.

 

Despite the ban, the use of phones are rampant and this birthday video is an example that rules are being violated.
