Bengaluru: The last three decades have turned Jayamahal Road as a trade hub as hundreds of migrant vendors, farmers are camping on pavements of this road to make a living.  The demand for mangoes, watermelons, oranges in one season, sheep and goats during Bakrid, plants, and fancy lights keeps this road busy throughout the year. The traders want the Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) to fix stormwater drains as water enters into their stalls. The other facilities like a public toilet, power supply and security will keep their hopes of making a living out of this road and pavement alive.
