PubliCity: Horticulture department contemplates blanket ban on vehicles in and around Cubbon Park

Bengaluru: After Lalbagh Botanical Garden authorities’ decision to ban entry of vehicles in and around the park, now horticulture department is contemplating a complete ban on vehicle movement in and around Cubbon Park. Principal Secretary RK Kataria who hoisted the national flag as a part of Independence Day celebration at Cubbon Park said the pollution levels are high during working days and there is a lot of objection to the movement of traffic. Hence a high-level meeting at the government will be held to ensure the complete ban of vehicles in and around Cubbon Park.
