PubliCity: BBMP loses prime land in Bengaluru to Congress MLA Haris’s company; BJP seeks probe
The BBMP's legal cell’s failure has resulted in MLA NA Haris's firm Nalapad group bagging a prime land in Bengaluru. The land in question is called kunte (pond) and is located close to Vidhana Soudha. The BJP which is in the opposition in BBMP is planning to challenge the order in the Supreme Court
Bengaluru: The Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike’s (BBMP) failure in defending its property has resulted in a prime land in Bengaluru’s Vasanth Nagar going to Shanthinagar Congress MLA NA Haris’s company Nalapad. The land is said be a pond and both the BBMP and Nalapad group fought the matter in Karnataka high court. As BBMP advocates failed in defending the property, the court gave the ruling in Nalapad's favour. The opposition BJP is planning to challenge the order in the Supreme Court.
