Mosquito menace: Dengue is preventable; here’s how

Vaccination does not play a role in bringing down the number of dengue cases in the city. There are no specific medicines as well. It is support care that is provided to the dengue-infected patients in the hospital, said Dr Sudarshan Ballal

Bengaluru: Nephrologist, director of Manipal Institute of Nephrology and Urology, Dr H Sudarshan Ballal speaks about how dengue can be prevented.

Dr Ballal said, “Anything that is preventable, we should pay more attention. Because if we get rid of the mosquitoes and prevent mosquito bites, certainly this disease can be prevented.”
