Dengue grips Karnataka, Bengaluru tops with 3822 cases

The killer dengue that was the reason for many deaths in the state has resurfaced. This time, Bengaluru has so far witnessed 3822 cases. The BBMP commissioner has instructed officials to take preventive steps to prevent the spread.

Bengaluru: The killer dengue is on an alarming rise in Karnataka and especially in Bengaluru City. The city has so far witnessed 3,822 cases since January. The BBMP commissioner N Manjunath Prasad has instructed health officials to carry out the Information, Communication and Education programme to ensure the public becomes aware of containing the spread of Dengue. The doctors say the timely admission, symptomatic treatment, and clean diet can cure a person if he or she is suffering from the killer disease.
