Bengaluru road rage: BMTC bus driver attacked in front of police
A BMTC bus driver plying between Yeshwantpur and Central Silk Board in Bengaluru, was attacked by a car driver
Bengaluru: A Bangalore Metropolitan Transport Corporation (BMTC) bus driver was attacked before High Ground Police officer Mukundaiah in Bengaluru on Wednesday (July 10).
The driver's identity is not known yet. According to eyewitnesses, the spat between an SUV driver named Selvam and BMTC driver took place over giving way on the road.
The driver Selvam accused BMTC driver of the alleged attack, and after the police were called, the supporters of Selvam forced the BMTC driver to come out.
As soon as the driver got down, he was dragged and slapped by Selvam before the police. A case under relevant section has been filed against Selvam.
Meanwhile, the BMTC bus plying on the Yeshwantpur-Central Silk board route, suspended its service.
