Bengaluru minor girl kills father for stopping her from talking to boyfriend

Bengaluru: In a shocking incident, a 15-year-old girl, with the help of her boyfriend, killed her father after he confiscated her mobile phone and restricted her movements, the Rajajinagar Police in Bengaluru said on Monday (August 19).

Praveen, a 19-year-old first-year B.Com student allegedly helped his minor girlfriend to kill her father.

The deceased, Jai Kumar Jain, was living with his wife and children on Vatal Nagaraj Road in Rajajinagar, Bengaluru. His wife and son had reportedly gone to Puducherry to attend a family function when the murder took place.

According to police, the girl and Praveen were friends ever since they were studying in the same school and also got into a relationship.
