Bengaluru: Heavy rain, along with thunder, lightning to continue for two more days

Bengaluru: Reports claim that Bengaluru will receive heavy rain, along with storm, thunder and lightning for two more days. Two days of heavy rains have resulted in uprooting of 60 trees in the city and damage to 30 vehicles including two-wheelers and cars. Heavy rains lashed Malleshwaram, Sheshadripuram, BTM Layout, Basaveshwar Nagar, where many trees were uprooted. In Padmanabhanagar, a tree fell on an electric pole, cutting it into two, affecting the power supply in the surrounding areas. Seven trees fell on one stretch of road on Sampige Road in Malleshwaram.
