Bengaluru: Doctors belonging to the Indian Medical Association (IMA) in Bengaluru protested against the National Medical Commission (NMC) Bill 2019 on Wednesday (July 31).
While Mallya Hospital in Bengaluru had only a few doctors available, they attended to emergency cases. In Kempegowda Institute of Medical Sciences (KIMS) Hospital in Banashankari, doctors expected a huge turnout of patients as most private hospitals are protesting and there is unavailability of doctors. They are ensuring that the patients do not face any inconvenience due to the protest.
