2nd PUC exam: Science topper inspired by Abdul Kalam; here's his advice to students

Bengaluru: Rajnath Kashyap, the Science topper from Bengaluru, who scored 594 out of 600, has said he never expected to be on top and credited his success to his parents and teachers.

Apart from college, he also took private tuitions and was inspired by his elder brother, and also late President APJ Abdul Kalam. Kashyap advised the students who failed not to get depressed and think about suicide. He said the students can still do well in supplementary exams and explained about his methods that got him the top slot. He said he was nervous initially but settled down and attempted those questions that carry more marks and then attempted questions with less marks. He wants to be a mechanical or aeronautical engineer and serve the nation.
