Tiger gets trapped in snare, rescued
An adult tiger was caught in a snare kept to trap wildbore and was rescued in Kodagu.
The big cat's hip was stuck in the snare. The villagers alerted the forest officials. The officials with help of a trained elephant tranqualised the tiger and shifted to veterinary hospital. As per reports, the tiger's condition is said to being stable.
The incident happened at Ponnampet and as the matter was reported, hundreds of villagers gathered to see the tiger.
