A group of lawyers displayed the national flag and raised “Hindustan Zindabad” slogans when advocates visited the court complex to receive documents related to the case of three Kashmiri students who were arrested on sedition charges. These students were arrested for allegedly raising pro-Pakistani slogans.
Heavy police security was given to the advocates representing the Kashmiri students. Almost 406 policemen were assigned to protect the advocates Chaitra, Niyaz and Rajesh who are representing the case.
In front of the court gate, advocates wearing red ribbons on their shoulders staged a protest over the three advocates and police for handling the case delicately.
After collecting the required documents from the third JMFC court, the advocates left for Dharwad to submit the bail application of the accused students.
