Over two dozen Bajrang Dal leaders arrested in K'taka CM's Shivamogga over alleged riots

In a riot case following an attack on Bajrang Dal activist Nagesh Gowda in CM Yediyurappa's home district Shivamogga, police raided and arrested 25 Dal activists for allegedly causing riots.

The police from Tunga, Doddapete and Kote raided the houses of Dal activists between 3 am to 5 am and arrested them.

Following the news of the arrest, senior Dal activists like former Deputy Mayor of Shivamogga Channabasappa, Bajrang Dal leader Deen Dayal staged a protest with over 50 activists before the station and shouted slogans against the police action.
