Official marks working government bus drivers, conductors absent as revenge in Karnataka

It seems the transport corporation officials are now in revenge taking mode after bus drivers and conductors attached to various transport corporation employees unions went on four-day strike.

BMTC employees including drivers and conductors allege that despite coming to duty, they are deliberately being marked absent for work.

The employees say, about 20 drivers and conductors were asked to come to the depot and officials forced them to declare as absent from work on the register. This apart, their wages are also being held back.
