National Doctor's Day 2020: IMA pays tributes to COVID frontline warriors
Doctor's Day 2020 is dedicated to the innumerable medical practitioners who are serving in the frontline during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Vijayawada: Doctor's Day in India is organised by the Indian Medical Association (IMA). The day is celebrated annually on July 1. In Andhra Pradesh's Vijayawada, Indian Medical Association paid tributes to the COVID frontline warriors of Andhra Pradesh.
During the celebration, a member of the state unit, Dr Karteek Tummala explained the precautions needed to curb the spread of coronavirus and made people aware about cardiac disorders which can be caused due to coronavirus. He also urged people to consult a doctor if they have any symptoms of COVID-19.
