As summer is approaching, cases of elephants entering human settlements have started to appear in parts of Karnataka. Umblebylu village in Shivamogga witnessed camping of wild elephants and destroying their fields.

Soon, forest officials rushed three trained tuskers and mahouts from Sakrebylu elephant camp. With the help of mahouts and trained elephants, the wild elephants were chased back into Bhadra Forest Reserve.

After the successful mission, the trained elephants were given rest and then taken back to their elephant camp.
