Coronavirus: Union minister’s slipper shot warning to negligent officers causes shock and embarrassment
Union minister Kailash Choudhary’s surprise visit to COVID care centres in the state left negligent officials in an embarrassed situation
Jodhpur: Union minister of state for agriculture Kailash Choudhary was on fire as he visited COVID care centres in Nokoda and Barmer for inspection. As the coronavirus positive patients at the centre complained about lack of facilities, the minister took officials to task. The patients complained about not providing quality tea-snacks and food on time, lack of sanitisation, unavailability of drinking and bathing water. Minister Kailash lashed out at the officials and said irresponsibility and negligence will not be tolerated at any cost. If they continue to show a lackadaisical attitude, then he would not hesitate to teach them lessons using his slippers.
