Coronavirus patient’s body lies on Bengaluru road as family waits for ambulance

A video of the incident that has gone viral shows the body of a 55-year-old man lying on the road in Bengaluru while his family members stood beside the body

Bengaluru: A body of a coronavirus (COVID-19) positive patient had to lay on a street as his family waited for an ambulance. The man died of coronavirus at his home in Bengaluru on Friday (July 3).
 
According to reports, the family of the man waited for at least two hours for the ambulance to take him to hospital.
 
According to the deceased's wife, the man had developed breathing problems and was availing treatment at home. After the man's report came COVID-19 positive, his condition deteriorated. Soon, his wife called for an ambulance to take him to a hospital.
 
Meanwhile, the man collapsed and died outside his house in Hanumantha Nagar. The ambulance arrived two hours after the man's death.
