Coronavirus: Bengaluru hospital cares for ambulance drivers; opens special room with PPE kits
Coronavirus cases are increasing in the country and ambulance drivers rush to help COVID-19 patients and the needy forgetting about their own safety many times
Bengaluru: HBS Hospital in Bengaluru's Shivajinagar has opened a room stored with protective gears for ambulance drivers amid the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. Shakeela, the administrator-cum-HR manager of HBS Hospital and Acura Speciality Hospital, Koramangala, said that the PPE kits are stored exclusively for ambulance drivers who will be taking care of the COVID-19 patients. She added that after receiving calls from patients or hospital, the ambulance drivers first rush to the store room and collect the protective equipment they need.
