Coronavirus: Bengaluru doctor calls out for help in treating patients as COVID-19 cases surge
Dr Taha Mateen of HBS Hospital urged his fellow doctors to join and spend six hours of their time at the hospital to treat COVID-19 patients, while calling for unity to fight the pandemic
Bengaluru: Doctors and medical staff are being hailed as the incarnation of God but now it seems God has himself come in the form of doctors as they have been relentlessly fighting the battle against the coronavirus pandemic. Rapidly rising COVID-19 cases have left states struggling to cope with a surge in patients necessitating more doctors, nurses and paramedics. One such hospital in Bengaluru is in need of doctors who can save lives.
Dr Taha Mateen from HBS Hospital in Bengaluru revealed the ordeal the hospital is facing due to the shortage of doctors, nurses and paramedics. He appealed to his fellow doctors and said he and the hospital just need six hours of their day to help and cure COVID-19 patients.
