Bengaluru Police foil fire arms smuggling bid, 8 arrested

Based on the information about the possible guns smuggling in Bengaluru, the Police raided a lodge and arrested a person by name Khadir Khan.

As per information, Khadir Khan along with other inter-state arms smugglers used to get illegal firearms from Muzaffarnagar and Rajasthan and sell them at higher price in Bengaluru.

After the initial arrest of Khadir from a Lodge in Konark Residency on JP street, the police seized two guns and eight bullets.

Later the police arrested Fayazullah Khan of Hedge Nagar in Bengaluru, Parag Kumar of Uttar Pradesh, Vijay from Tamil Nadu, Shanawaz Ansari from Gujarat, Nasir Sheik, Salman Khan and Fakeuddin all from Madhya Pradesh.

It is said the accused used to get the fire arms from Rajasthan and Muzaffarnagar in UP and sell the same at higher cost.
