Bengaluru: Drunk father sets house on fire; kills self, 2 children

Bengaluru: In a tragic incident, Murali, a 45-year-old man who was in an inebriated state, on Monday (October 21) allegedly set his house on fire, killing self and his two children in Bengaluru's Cottonpet. 

According to reports, his wife has received 60% burns and is battling for life at a government hospital.

The reports further said that neighbours reportedly noticed the fire and informed the fire brigade. Unfortunately, by the time the firefighters reached, the man and his two children were dead.

The deceased have been identified as 21-year-old Kaveri, her 13-year-old brother Srikanth and their father - 45-year-old Murali.
