Chikkamagaluru: In yet another attack on ASHA workers by miscreants, an ASHA (Accredited Social Health Activist) worker on COVID duty was allegedly sexually assaulted by a youth in Sringeri, Chikkamagaluru district, Karnataka.

The ASHA worker has accused a man named Chandrashekar of sexually assaulting her when she was on the way to collect COVID-19 information from residents. She has sought protection while on duty and demanded action against her perpetrator.
