After recovery from Covid-19, Kawasaki illness strikes Karnataka-Maharashtra children
In a major concern among Maharashtra and Karnataka states, parents of recovered Covid-19 children are seeing a new kind of illness called 'Kawasaki illness'.
This condition was found among UK and US children who recovered from Covid-19 few months ago. Now 15 children in Gadag bordering Maharashtra and Karnataka have been found with this condition.
From severe stomach pain, jaundice, appendicitis, and fluctuating BP and shock fever are it's symptoms and treatment is available. Treatment like Ivig and Methylprednisolone and ICU care should be given which cures the illness.
