Counting has begun in Karnataka with BJP taking lead in the state. Bengaluru North BJP candidate DV Sadananda Gowda paid a visit to the counting centre. “The EC staff has made all necessary arrangements for counting. I have visited the eight Assembly constituencies and the EVMs have been kept safely. People will have their answer after counting and I am confident of winning again. People want Modi as the prime minister for another term,” he said. The former chief minister has taken the lead.
