COVID-19 patient airlifted from Kolkata to Chennai in three hours

In the first of its kind, a 58-year-old COVID-19 patient was airlifted from Kolkata to Chennai for treatment. The patient developed complications as his lungs were infected due to COVID-19 infection. The family opted to shift him to MGM hospital through air ambulance with a high-tech ventilator and other emergency equipment.

 

In three hours, the patient was shifted from Kolkata to MGM hospital in Chennai and zero traffic and green corridor were used to cut through traffic to shift the patient
