COVID-19: Health workers attacked in Bengaluru as mother asks children to beat up officials
Incidents of attack on health workers that were reported during the initial days of COVID-19 have resurfaced. After Bengaluru's Sarepalya and Padarayanpura incident, health workers were attacked at Cubbonpet recently.
The health workers on a door-to-door survey for COVID-19 related cases faced harassment. A resident of 18th cross, Cubbonpet snatched a mobile phone, heckled the health workers and used foul language.
Once police arrived, the residents realised the mistake. Halasuru Gate Police have registered a case in this regard.
